Disclaimer

Apparently I need a disclaimer cause I talk openly about everything. So here goes –

This is my personal blog. The opinions expressed here are my own thoughts and views  and,  chances are, they’ll change from time to time.  I consider this a consequence of having an open mind. My blog is not operated by or affiliated with any mental health care provider or professionals. Only me. And I’m just a little old lady with a computer and internet access. This blog is  simply intended to provide validation, support and, hopefully, a little humor to those whom, like myself, were raised by narcissistic / borderline personality disordered mothers.

And alcoholic fathers.

And a plethora of extended family members riddled with homicide, suicide, mental illness, incarceration, substance abuse, depression, various addictions, adultery, greed and unfathomable cruelty. I’m sure I’ve left something out but  no worries – they’ll rear their ugly heads, eventually.  They always do.

Names have been changed to protect the innocent. As for the not so  innocent?  Well they know who they are – and there’s only so much I can do to protect them from themselves My intention is TO NOT  malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, or individual. Oh and just in case I say something stupid? I’d like to point out that the stupidity is mine and mine alone.

I am not a therapist, psychologist or any type of mental health  professional, practitioner or provider and I certainly don’t try to play one on the internet. Nothing published on my blog is medical fact or medical advice – it’s  just my opinion, which is known to be wrong from time to time. I’ve met some really super intelligent  therapists – and known a few who are dumber than my cat.  It’s a crap shoot so I would suggest you judge information on its own merits.

Nothing on this blog constitutes medical, legal or psychological advice. The information on this site is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, expressed or implied. Information on this blog should never be used to replace or modify the diagnosis or treatment recommendations of any licensed mental health professional or medical practitioner. Please consult with your doctor, therapist or mental health professional before applying any ideas from this blog to your own situation.  What works for me may not work for you – and vice versa.  I’m not liable for any damage resulting from the use or misuse of information contained within.
